Hi All, I've been working on a shawl for some time, and since that's quite big, it's no where near completion. And yesterday I wanted to finish something, a new completed project, and hence tried out this ear ring pattern which I had plans of doing, for quite some time. The thread ( or, should I call it cotton yarn, well I'm not too sure) I used was thicker than the one mentioned in the pattern, so, the end result is also bigger. Here it is.

Macrame Bracelet
Hi All, I tried my hand at a new craft, 'Macrame'. Well, I could've bought better beads (matching this thread), or used some other thread, matching these beads, or any other I had. But, well, here is what I did. I'm not too happy with the bead-thread combo. I feel that I should've done it after selecting the beads and thread, taking more time. But I had guests over the weekend, staying over, and had a strict "no" from hubby to crafts, while they were here. So, had to do it in the very little time I got when everyone slept in the afternoon. :(
Anyways, this is what I made! The tutorial is here

Rug / Mat from Rags
Hi All, today I've got something else, a new trial. :) There was this bed sheet I had been using during my boarding and hostel days. It was so old that one day it tore in the middle. Though it was so old, and torn, and of no use to me (or so I thought), I didn't feel like throwing it away, as I had so many nice memories linked with it. So, I'd kept it along with the other bed sheets. Then I came across this tutorial, and immediately thought of this old bed sheet. And here it is, in the new form. :)

Cute Booties
My cousin had got a little baby girl and we hadn't met her. So, before going to meet her, I wanted to make her something. First I thought I'll stitch a frock, or a bib. But after doing the bookmark, I wanted to crochet something for her. So, took this easy pattern from ravelry.com and made these booties. I'm happy with the result. :)
